The final conference of the three-year project “Transforming Graduate Education for Green and Sustainable Future” (Erasmus+ T-GREEN) took place in Yerevan. The event brought together Armenian and European partners to summarize the project’s significant outcomes.

The goals of the project were to:

  1. Contribute to higher education reform in Armenia.
  2. Develop green and sustainable educational programs.
  3. Enhance the quality and competitiveness of education.
  4. Promote international cooperation and student mobility.

During the official opening of the conference, Susana Martins, representative of the Delegation of the European Union to Armenia, delivered a speech highlighting the successful implementation of the program and its vital impact on the educational system.

Manuk Barseghyan, Rector of the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia (NUACA), also delivered welcoming remarks, emphasizing the role of international cooperation in modernizing higher education. According to him, new Master’s programs aligned with international standards have already been developed and implemented within the framework of the project.

During the conference, European and Armenian partners:

  • Visited universities and laboratories.
  • Toured innovation centers.
  • Discussed initiatives implemented toward educational development and sustainability.
  • Presented the results of the work carried out throughout the project duration.

The overall management of the project was conducted by the National University of Architecture and Construction of Armenia, in collaboration with partner universities from both Armenia and Europe.

The Erasmus+ T-GREEN project has made a significant contribution to the development of modern, green, and sustainable Master’s education in Armenia, helping to shape specialists prepared for the challenges of the future.
